About Leeny

Leeny started with a simple question: why buy something new for one wedding, when a friend has exactly that hanging in her wardrobe?

People have always borrowed clothes, but usually through scattered messages and “do you still have that dress?”. Then nobody knows who has what, or when it’s coming back. Leeny makes that easy and clear.

What we stand for

• Borrow from people you trust. Leeny isn’t a marketplace. You borrow in private groups, with people you know.
• Borrowing is free. And it’ll stay that way. Later there will be an optional subscription with extras, but everything you need to borrow together costs nothing.
• More mindful about clothes. Every item you borrow instead of buying saves raw materials and CO₂. Leeny shows how much you save together.
• Privacy first. No ads, no tracking. Your data stays in the EU and what you share is only seen by your groups.

Who we are

Leeny is made with care in the Netherlands by Yorick Boshuijzen. The app is now in beta with a few groups of friends, and we’re building on their ideas.
